They are called “enablers”. Facilitators of images and emotions, knowledge and convictions. Many are no longer of this world but we continue to speak of them in the present. They are called Henri Langlois, Gregorio Martinelli, Freddy Buache, João Benard da Costa, Chema Prado or even Jean-Loup Passek.

The Jean-Loup Passek of the Melgaço Film Museum, La Rochelle International Film Festival, Caméra d'or du Festival de Cannes, Dictionnaire mondial du cinéma and the Département cinéma du Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, which he created and directed from 1978 to 2003. A place where he conceived and produced nearly forty thematic events devoted to cinematographies around the world, from the most famous to the most unknown or forgotten, honouring directors, actors and actresses, with film cycles, photography exhibitions and publishing of catalog books.
