Detachement

Project undertaken in 2019 Photographic Residence

The rupture with the past does not create feelings of nostalgia, only memories of a time that is already over. Detachment thus finds a time and a space to occur, in the fragments of a body that relates to the surrounding Nature, aware of the ephemerality of the moment itself.

Clara Araújo

Born in February 1995 in Viana do Castelo. Associated with music from an early age, she graduated in Production and Music Technologies from ESMAE. Photography emerged later as a new means of personal expression, thus concluding in 2018 the Professional Course of Photography by the IPF of Porto. Currently works in both fields, searching for interdisciplinarity in her projects.
