The map is not the territory, it delves into the complex dichotomy between lived reality and the abstract mapping models that shape our understanding of the world to explore the ontological gap that exists between these two distinct realities. The project emerges as a challenge to the rigid idea of borders, revealing the connections and flows that transcend physical limits and the consequences of a clandestine displacement. Through photography, this project seeks to respond to questions, tensions and contradictions that arise in an intermediate space.
