Melgaço, the land of the free. Of someone who knows the borders and circumvents them in a unique way. That quickly dominates and challenges the limits he knows so well, looking for more and better. Forced to leave, he faces the hardship of the journey ahead. Paths that intersect and wrap around, mirroring his courage and liberty. The sought-after openings turn out to be empty beauties. He left in search of freedom and it is through it that he realizes that what he wants most, at the end of the day, is to return to what is his. He feels at home again. He never left Melgaço.

Porto, 1999. After a degree in Directing, she is currently finishing her Masters in Multimedia in FEUP. Her first short film “Bar of Soap” was distinguished as Best Student Short at BNVIFF (where she was also nominated for Best Director), Best Super Short Film at 8 & HalfFilms Awards, Best Screenplay at FunFest, and Finalist in the Best Super Short Film category at SWIFF. Currently works as a video and photography freelancer.
