IMAGES FROM A GOLDEN AGE:
GERMAN CINEMA FROM THE 10'S TO THE 30'S

Looking at these posters, some originals, these photographs, of films and portraits of actresses from the UFA (Universum FilmAG, a German distribution and production company founded in 1917) is to enter a Golden Age of German cinema.

A time between two wars, between two tragedies, leading its protagonists to other destinations, to integration in other production systems and cinematography (France and USA, above all).

Revealing images of the extraordinary contribution of German cinema to the History of Cinema, whose affiliation reverberates to this day.

A cinema influenced, in its origins, by the expressionist movement, by the fusion of popular and erudite cultures, and the affirmation of exceptional directors, actors and actresses who forever left a mark in the history of the 7th Art.
