MDOC is part of a European festival collective called VIVODOC. This network includes partnerships with Spain, France, Italy, and Romania, and promotes the circulation and screening of European documentaries.

In its 2025 edition, MDOC will host a Meeting of these festivals in Melgaço, with the aim of discussing future directions and potential projects, as well as fostering new partnerships and collaborations between the collective and other international documentary film stakeholders.

Participating in this network are Majordocs (Mallorca, Spain), Escales Documentaires (La Rochelle, France), Frontdoc (Aosta, Italy), One World Romania (Bucharest, Romania), and MDOC (Melgaço, Portugal).
